I am taking a cake class!
I love cake. News, right?
If I could pick one thing in the world to fill a swimming pool with and eat my way to the bottom, it would be cake.
As I've made cakes over the years I've tried many different recipes, searching for the perfect chocolate, the perfect vanilla, lavender, lemon, butter and berry.
The best frostings too! Meringues and confectioner's sugars and cream cheese and ganache.
I believe I have had some successes. Yes sir.
But you know what I can't do?
Floofy things. Flowers and borders and buttons and dots.
I've been squirreling away cake tips for a while now, but have no idea what to do with them.
It's time to break down the gates and figure it out.
Tonight we made pansies and cute daisy things.
Next week? Rosebuds.
